We lawyers owe a debt of gratitude to Judge Landicino, because if his Rules were more efficient, it would reduce our billable hours. Thank you, Judge Landicino, for creating additional, unnecessary procedural hurdles beyond the CPLR, that increase our billable hours at our clients' expense.

I was impressed by Justice Landicino. He was well-prepared for oral argument of about 10 cases, including mine. He read the briefs and had questions ready. He listened and presented as fair and neutral. And even likable. It was evident that Justice Landicino wanted to carefully reach the right decision guided by the facts and law. I wish others on the bench adhered to this style.

Very good judge. Smart, quick, hard-working and thorough. Can maybe seem a little condescending at times, which maybe is what is setting some off, but he should be judged by his ability and results, which are both excellent. If every judge were like him, we'd be in good shape.

As I write this, Judge Landicino is trying to assist the parties in settling a dispute involving several commercial leases in Brooklyn.

I do not know if we will be successful. But if we are not successful it will certainly NOT be the fault of Judge Landicino.

Judge Landicio is a true resource as an ADR expert. He has studied the documents thoroughly and pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of both sides' positions. But he has gone way beyond that, working to find a compromise both sides can view as just. He has shown great patience with and respect for both sides.

It is a true shame that a resource like this message board can be polluted by a single individual who fared badly before the Judge. But one can easily tell that the negative comments were all posted by a single individual (and not an attorney), inter alia because he cannot even spell "marital" correctly or even misspell it the same way twice.

In this period of such uncertainty bought on by Covid 19, litigants would do well to use the services of a truly distinguished judge, such as Justice Landicino, to see if they can end the hostilities.

Just one man's opinion, but I have been at this for almost 38 years. Judge Landicido, in the famous expression, "has no betters and few peers." He is a true credit to the Court.

As to an event, one completely out of character, which took place 8+ years ago (10/2012), people should show some basic decency. Have you not heard the expression, "There but for the grace of God go I." Grow up!

Landicino brings into the courtroom his infamous, explosive temper. Notwithstanding his publicized road-rage incidents, he takes instant disliking men, and in the midst of proceedings lets fly with his uncontrollable anger and rude/cruel personal remarks.
Also has a prior arrest for DWI how is he able to trial cases???
If a litigant behaved thusly, he should be jailed for contempt.

Allowed Lawyers & Himself to adjourn and adjourn cases which made all courtroom proceedings delayed
(Kangaroo Court)So he can & all have jobs costing defendants to bare costs!

Has no bearing on Divorce proceedings or knowledge & favors the women not hard working man i was one of his victims "beware any new cases set to him request a new trial judge

Now that your home probably boozing it up just make sure you dont get another DWI arrest!

You make the court system a disgrace!

Just sat through week-long trial that settled right before verdict, with Judge's help. This Judge worked very hard, was on time, listened carefully, issued knowledgeable rulings.
He has an excellent temperament and was evenly fair to both sides. He was ready always to let the case go to verdict, but also expressed interest in helping the parties come together. If you are ready to try your case, this would be an excellent assignment for plaintiff and defendant. Forget the negative comments, he is by no means arrogant, in fact pretty much the opposite.

I should of told him is this how you treat a honorable man/father?

He mocked my divorce case very unfair had no knowledge on a fair decision during my divorce trail Kangaroo court

he has a DWI( arrest)has no experiences in divorce proceeding &some allegations or mis conduct to females For the life of me don't know how he's sitting on bench or have authority to judge

Mr Landicino was my martial trial judge which lasted 4 years. A decision was rendered 12/26/2017 which favored my spouse he set impossible alimony payment's as well as payment for her attorney's fees and finicially has ruined me just not fair this is how he treats a honorable man/father?
Ive did some research on MR Landicino and he has a lot of skeleton's in closet DWI & Sexual harassment's allegations im really starting to dought his creditability on holding a job on the court bench

Only one appearance before this judge, but it was very positive. Was respectful, well-spoken, asked intelligent questions, and gave all parties appropriate time for oral argument. So he will probably either be bumped to the Appellate Division or leave the bench for an ADR company shortly.
