Comments:
Judge Kennedy actually said out loud "it's almost 4:00 and they're going to close the courthouse." The miscarriage of justice today in her courtroom involved repeatedly berating litigants, ignoring witness testimony, and refusing to review evidence at all. She continually interrupted plaintiff and witness, promising time, denying it, then repeatedly insisting she had provided ample opportunity to speak. Her observational skills are negligible, and her ego too vast to defer to witness' expertise. She was so rude that I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint with the NY State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Comments:
Judge Kennedy is a pleasure to deal with. She is prompt, gets right to the point, avoids nonsense, and gets the parties to come to agreement regarding litigation disputes. She is respectful of the attorneys, familiar with the subject matter, and has excellent judicial demeanor. Unlike most judges, she had a career in private practice before becoming a Judge and it shows in her understanding of what attorneys have to deal with. Too bad that there aren't more jurists like her. I believe that any negative comments here are merely disgruntled parties or attorneys who did not achieve the results they desired.

Comments:
Her temperament and ego are atrocious. She cannot follow along basic facts of any case before her. She constantly interrupts counsel, is paranoid of being appealed, and is just overall miserable to deal with. Like other comments have said it is absolutely shocking she can sit on the bench. If she is not interrupting litigants she is busy snapping at her court attorney. On what planet is she "humble"?

Comments:
She is very unqualified to be a judge. Rather shocking that she sits on the bench today. She has inflated sense of self and is unable to understand simple legal concepts and fact pattern. Very disappointing and sad.

Judge Kennedy is a highly qualified and independent judge who has devoted her career to serving the people of Brooklyn in a highly respectable and fair manner. She always takes a diligent and thorough approach to assessing cases, and examines all sides accordingly. She is fair and approachable to non-represented parties, especially tenants, and makes sure all parties are aware of the proceedings and can comprehend and understand the judicial procedure accurately. Judge Kennedy ran against the Democratic political machine bosses a few years before Ocasio Cortes did, and won! She is highly qualified despite what slumlord lawyers who are upset they lost cases seem to believe, and was elected by the people of Brooklyn even without the party's support. This judge has proven her dedication to the courtroom and a fair and independent approach to law. I have seen her on the bench countless times, and have observed her humble and neutral process. She is a very qualified judge who treats every case with time and respect, and is not who these politically-connected, greedy slumlord attorneys say she is.

I absolutely love this humble and unassuming Judge. She is a great role model to young women. She has a great grasp of the law, and I understand why greedy slumlords may think otherwise. She tempers justice with kindness and mercy. She is very understanding and patient with tenants. She is awesome!!

Comments:
This judge may possibly be one of the most unqualified people on the bench today. Her knowledge of the law is laughable. She is clearly not intelligent and is too arrogant to educate herself on things she doesn't know about. She is obsessed with not being appealed, so she is petrified of making any decisions. When her court attorney is not present, she is absolutely clueless and comes up with random, crazy and inconsistent decisions out of thin air. She is one of the only judges I have ever seen who sits at the bench and writes the decision while speaking out loud, and then asks the litigants how she should say things. She has no short term memory. She has no long term memory. She has no independent legal knowledge and instead routinely harps on the two or three things she thinks she remembers from Civil Procedure class. She should flip a coin when both parties come up to the bench - it would save everyone a lot of time.
