Comments:
Judge Chinhayi Cadet’s watch, fairness takes a back seat to bias, and justice is unevenly applied. Judge Cadet methodically favors the affluent well, connected and represented by prominent local attorneys and male litigants. She is egregiously failing to uphold Judicial Canons and fundamental legal standards.

Indigent litigants and survivors of abuse describe Judge Cadet's courtroom as a place where disadvantaged parties—especially women, minorities, and self-represented litigants—are left feeling silenced, retaliated against, made to feel marginalized, isolated, and financially drained.

Many state that navigating Judge Cadet’s courtroom feels like walking into a battle already lost—unless you’re wealthy or well-connected. For those without such advantages, the experience can be deeply disheartening.

Litigant

Rating:1.0
Comments:
The most incompetent and unqualified so called judge I've seen. Her eyes get glassy when a pro se litigant starts talking and she suddenly wakes up from her slumber once an attorney WITHOUT an accent starts talking. Zero due process. Hard evidence (banks statements, subpoenaed applications, text messages, emails etc.) are completely dismissed as if never presented. Takes veeeeery long breaks even in the middle of same case during a regular short hearing. If the litigant says something that actually makes sense, Cadet interrupts mid-word and gives a turn to an opposing counsel. This callous individual should have never become a judge unless her goal was to screw up as many mothers and children as possible. I think she is being told by Lee, Franchi or Holt what decisions to make in targeted cases. I cannot explain her erratic rulings any other way. [Redacted by Ed.] San Mateo County Court needs to be investigated through and through. [Redacted by Ed.]
