Judges have heavy case loads and tend to conflate the cases. Judge Franklin in my opinion has been on the bench too long. You HAVE TO read the evidence. He just shoots from the hip. He can't remember his court orders. When the attorneys are given just five minutes to state their case the onus should be on the judge to READ the evidence and remember what he read. I don't see it from this judge.

I am totally befuddled how this Judge makes his rulings. He ignores all evidence and makes no sense in his rulings. He can't remember his own court orders and tends to override them. He never has the welfare of the children as a priority. He designates his responsibilities. He has no sense of fairness. He should be forced to READ and HEAR all the evidence and rule on their strength . He should also enforce his own court orders.

I am astounded that this man is allowed to where a robe and call himself a judge. This judge has made many court orders in my divorce case of 3 years and has never once enforced any of his orders. This judge has allowed extreme financial hardship to where I cannot even afford to file for bankruptcy, has ordered mortgage payments to not be paid(the only order the defendant has followed) and my house is now in foreclosure, and a business I co-owned for 20+ years is now in the hands of the defendant who is allowed to spend wildly and extravagantly. This judge allows the defendant to hide money, not produce financial records, not produce marital assets in hiding and so on. This judge needs to be responsible for what he has done to so many looking for justice. I for one have lost all respect for the judicial system.

We all have issues with this judge. We also know that we hold no power in this forum. But the squeaky wheel will get the grease.

Write your complaint in bullet format. Send it to the United States Justice Department, Attention: Attorney General Eric Holder, 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington DC 20530-0001

Provide a separate permission request with your name and case # and give them permission on your behalf to investigate your complaint and sign it.

Copy your Senators and U.S. Representatives. Let them know that we request changes in the Family Courts.

We need them to be family friendly. Not all Family Courts are bad, but some basic rule of law needs to be followed to protect our children after divorce in this system.

Go to: USA.gov to find them and get their address. You can contact them via email.

Write your Governor and/or copy him.

Contact your local news station or copy them.

Contact your local newspaper reporters.

Make sure that your voice is heard loud and clear by everyone with the power to investigate and communicate the problem at hand. We must change this unfavorable and biased system.

We must ask our government to ensure that this family part system is following court rules and the fundamentals of basic law.

Most of all, be persistent and don't retreat.

The worst of the worst. He yells and screams and appoints a third party mediator so he doesn't have to make a descion. He is a judge who needs to retire yesterday, before he causes more people to go bankrupt! He is extremely unfair and needs to brush up on current legal cases. He is very crooked and unfair.

He is a very one-sided judge. He does not give the defendant's attorney a chance to explain their side. There is no justice when it come to Judge Sheldon Franklin, as it's his way to favor women, and generally act like God with a gavel. How do we apply for a new judge? We need direction.

Having been a non-party observer in this individual's Court, I have to say that I am totally shocked at his incompetence.In the case I observed, he continuously ignored Court Rules and Case Law and ruled against his own previously expressed Opinions.
An example of this "volte face" was when he denied a Motion to Strike for failure to provide ANY discovery. This was after previously, in the same litigation stated that, "(compliant) discovery was EVERY question answered and Certified to."

This is only one of his many shocking decisions which have led to this particular litigation entering its 5th. year.

This individual is a disgrace to the Judicial system and, if allowed to continue will create irreparable damage to many more litigants.

He is by far the worst judge I have ever met! He compleletely ignored crucial facts of the case so that he could rule in favor of the male litigant... he actually ordered a stay at home mother on welfare to pay child support to an unworking and self admitted non-seeker of work!! he literally split up a family because of his HUGE BIAS and extremely poor judgment!! and ignored a motion that was filed on time and well within the rules because he said it was not allowed to be over 10 pages--it was 9!!! and not double spaced--it clearly was! he does not deserve the title of honorable and clearly unfit for the court

THIS JUDGE IS TOTALLY BIASED AGAINST MEN AND FATHERS. He refused to enforce my visitation order and let me see my daughters for no good reason. He buys any old excuse a mom gives and doesn't care about the damage that it does to kids to have a parent missing (mom or dad) from a child's life.

He is male bias and makes my children suffer with no support paid and ive been back to him atleast 5 times to enforce and what does he do?! nothing! he lowers my ex's payments from 371/wk to 100 based on bullcrap papers he filed! let alone my divorce settlement judgements ill never see that either nor will it be enforced! Also he has issues with yelling at me for wanting money for my children and divorce money owed to me i mean really wtf kind of judge does that crapp! i like troncone he should absolutely replace this fool!!!

This Judge is totally Bias. He should be removed from the Bench and be investigated.
My ex had told me she would get what she wants from him and she has. This Judge has taken the word of my ex over Professional Documentation. As others have commented the well being of a child is the last thing on his mind.
As other state he will over look proof provided to the court. But in the mean while will allow my ex to correspond with him with out submitting me a copy and still admit it into testimony where is the justice in this Judge.
He has left me homeless. He has neglected the well being of my Daughter.
Plus he has left me with not even enough money to file and appeal or pay for rent or feed my daughter. Every time I file a motion he find a new reason to say I didn't provide enough.
Now went as far as Violating my Privacy by me having to provide my Ex with Financial every week and job search reports and I have been divorced 2 years.Where is the Justice.

This Judge is whacked out. Indeed he has the Court room. However, he deserves the bathroom. He can not remember what he court order's, his paper's are alway's unorganized. He made me get bank statements to prove I was paying the mortgage and still ruled in my husaband's favor, taking food from my children's mouth. He screams and yells, will not let you speak his rulings make not sense. I got arrested today for telling him not to yell at me. I told him open your eyes look at the bank statements YOUR HONOR ! I think he has a first grade education. His staff can not stand him or the sheriff's. He Belongs in a mental institute.

He yells at every woman that comes into his courtroom. Takes absolutely no thought with regard to the well-being of children in a divorce. Gives custody and unsupervised visitation to documented abusers. Name-calls litigants and drags litigation on for years, funneling business to evaluators, psychologists, etc. Violates due process regularly.
