Was good at some cases but unfortunately too many marijuana findings and overall a feeling of bias for people of color from New York who had to wait for clearances for months while families from Eastern European countries got kids back without waiting for clearances. Also creepily over friendly to certain young attractive lawyers.

An attounerny I met once said of Knipps when I asked about her was "oh she's notoriouly indesicive" But when she finnaly does makes a decision she does so to over rule ACS, others even the foster care agencies. For example, the BM lost her child to the system because she tried to kill herself while pregnant.The BM has taken to masticating her food and spitting it down the boy's mouth knowing that she is HIV+. Hell, she even burned the child at least ask about police reports!
We tryed to tell these things, we had the child past the 18 months that the "law" allows. Knipps is a tolal waste as a public servant and a money pitt for the tax payers. Where are those dammed Republicans when you need them? Maybe they can stop her before she kills someone.

Judge Susan Knipps today June 18th 2014, allowed my grandson to be adopted by an orthodox jew family. My case to get custody has been going on for over 6 years. She allowed the opposition to get any and everything they wanted.Long Story but the foster fathers father was a supreme court judge in Brooklyn. He sat on the Bench until he died about a year or so ago.
She allowed them to delay the case even though she was warned that the case needed to be expedited before they say my grandson bonded with them . She allowed the case to continue for 6 years.Much more to this story.

She is one of the worst judges. A crual and uneducated blue collar dictator. She tries to protect herself and her own interests to destroy families and children.
I have never seen a judge with a dictator agenda to destroy the core of family justice.
Every dog have a day and judge Knipps day will come.

Being in court is never a win win situation, and I didn't always like how Judge Knipps always made both of us pay for evaluators etc. I felt like it should have been the non-custodial parent's obligation to pay since it was his motion. However, I think she makes decisions squarely, fairly and definitely in the best interest of the children. This is something that many judges, in my experience, don't manage to do properly.
