Judge Knobel is a brilliant jurist. He maintains an exceptional grasp of the law and brings an open mind and even-handedness to every matter he presides over. Judge Knobel works very hard to ensure that those who are the most vulnerable are protected from predators out to exploit, and he further ensures that these individuals, who are unable to care for themselves, are instead cared for by other caring professionals who put their wards' needs first. Judge Knobel always comes to the bench prepared, having read the all the papers before argument. He drafts clear decisions, providing sufficient reason for reaching his determinations. He is an invaluable asset to the guardianship bench.

Definite one of the worse [redacted] judge on the bench, even court staff are appalled and view this judge as the mad hatter. You can clearly see he [redacted] when he threatens court staff and lawyers. Judge Knobel is a disgrace to the bench. People call your local congressman and senators and demand justice!

Wow the justice system just went to the crap! You know all the positives reviews are bogus! I have sat in many cases in his court room and he is truly psychotic! Being bullied as a kid turned this judge into a bully. Oceanside is no longer going to support this judge. Step down please! Your not fit to wear that robe!

Judge Knobel is a true asset to the bench. He is a rock solid jurist with a firm grasp of the law and an evenhanded approach to judging. His temperament is that of a seasoned jurist with a genuine care for the parties and counselors before him. I practice before him at least once a month. He is an elected District Court Judge and Acting County Court Judge, sitting in Supreme Court. Now that's a mouthful. But he handles Guardianships exclusively and has a stellar reputation with the bar. You can't find a much better judge than Judge Gary Knobel.

This judge is usually late to court. But even worse than this is his corrupt behavior, like when he used his judge position to help two male administrators
bully and harass me. He lied at the time, and then perjured himself in court. Oh, and when I saw him in Rockville Centre, he ducked in the doorway and hid.
Very "judgelike." I fully believe the truth will eventually come out and he will be exposed for the hired "smoking gun" that he was used for. I am going public with further information, which is available to anyone interested. Thank you.

Judge Knobel is the gold standard by which all district court judges should be measured by. He is fair minded, knowledgeable of the law,and even tempered. It is an honor to practice in his courtroom no matter the issue, simply stated he is as good as it gets at 99 Main Street!

I have been before him on both civil and criminal matters. A real pro. Respects all and lets you try your case. Not afraid to follow the law and make a controversial decesion. Appreciates a well prepared attorney. There are not enought judges on the bench of his caliber.

A plaintiff's judge. A Republican jurist with roots rolling in the mud at Woodstock who obviously had a "Come to Jesus Moment." This is a body in a robe with a short fuse and as much interest in the fair disposition of a case as a fart in church. "Clear my docket and let me go home from my witoo job."
