My first encounter with her was when she was the law secretary to Judge Dowd. She was nasty and rude. She got even worse when she became a Judge. Thank god she's gone.

Excellent!! Discerning, direct, and NO nonsense. Her decisions were based solely on the LAW and the EVIDENCE, unlike Hynes or Robert Pitler who BROKE the LAW to put BACK an OP that was 1st issued by Judge Krauss, then vacated because IT WAS ALL LIES that produced said OP. It was a JUST call, but Pitler made a threat: "I'm going to find out when she's up for re-election", he was not happy with the Judges "JUST" decision, he literally had a temper tantrum, so he went to his friend DA Hynes, conspired to have me charged with a BOGUS Crime which didn't even included, a complaint by a "victim", no investigation, so NO probable cause to get a Warrant issued, so I was KIDNAPPED, held against my will for over 24 hours!! Simply because I came to NY at my daughters request, because she has a mood dis order. That OP Pitler had in place, was COACHED, it had ALL the "hot button" accusations, ALL LIES!! Malicious Prosecution, conspiracy, Kidnapping, Conspiracy to commit Kidnapping, false arrest, denied DUE Process, my 5th& 14th Amendment Rights non existent, cruel and unusual punishment, threats..........I honestly don't know why former Brooklyn DA Hynes isn't on the "TERRORIST LIST", he terrorized the Citizens of Brooklyn, Judges, Attorney's and anyone who he felt like for 24 years. SO WHY DID JUDGE KRAUSS RESIGN!!!? Was she threatened by Hynes!!!!?

Judge Krauss was not for a moment open-minded. She made up her mind long before the case went to trial, and even when the defendant's lawyer got caught lying to her, she didn't hold it against him. And even when the defendant himself was caught on numerous occasions lying to her, she didn't take action or see it as a sign that he was not believable. She would fly off the handle and yell at people, in many cases because she misunderstood what the person said. She was dismissive, and she limited the time to testify, and then held it against the witnesses that they didn't have time to answer all of the questions. Just terrible.

Extremely biased. Does not pay attention to facts, only her emotions and her own knowledge of things, not individual situations. During trial she was occupied with other matters and could not focus on the hearing. Her order put my sons life in danger and he was one day away from becoming blind. As well when I was finaly scheduled for her again to present that fact, she stated that it was too long ago and was only concerned with the present.
I also felt that she was sexiest against women, as I was talked down to for being a mother in the military. She suggested that I abanded my child because of my military obligation. While simultaneously praising the child's father for being in the military and gave him too much leeway for his constant absence from the child's life.
