Her law secretary is exceedingly bright, hardworking and courteous. Despite being in what I was told was an all-day negotiation, he took the time to address discrete needs and sent us on our way. My prior expierience with Judge Mills is that she is bright and runs a tight ship. Exceedingly patient and courteous.

She is an embarrassment to the bench. During I matter which I tried before her, she was unprepared on the issues, vexatious and played favorites. She was egregiously late and chatted on the phone during trial. The First Department reversed her decision on the merits (which was badly written, with little citation to caselaw, and based on an argument she dreamed up out of thin air) in short order.

Perhaps the worst trial judge in New York County. Plays on her computer during testimony, has only a passing familiarity with the rules of evidence, and is condescending to counsel.
