Both she and her principal law secretary go for the jugular in the nastiness department. Wont to fly off the handle at a moment's notice. Steel yourself and know that despite all of that, she is an engaged judge. Seems she'll have a new law secretary soon--maybe that will make things better.

accepts telephone calls while on the
bench and while attorneys are attempting
to argue motions.

Comments:
One of the smartest judges - grasps the issues quickly and does not take any nonsense from attorneys. However, she can be rude and dismissive and impatient with discovery issues. Her law secretaries seem very unhappy. Her strengths far outweigh her weaknesses, though, and as an engaged, intelligent judge she is excellent on complex matters.

She might very well be an excellent jurist, but it's hard to tell with all of her ranting and raving. No judicial temperament at all and a total disrespect for all those who appear before her.
