Nice enough gentleman, very professional. Essentially has re-written the standard on summary judgment, although not supported by law. Judge and his chambers are not shy in saying defendants can never prevail on summary judgment.

Wonderful judge. Knowledgeable about the law. Fair to both sides. Outstanding court attorney. This judge exhibits all the best characteristics of an impartial ref. in Civil Court, there are a lot of good judges, but a handful of really awful ones like Judge Mendez, who is racist and who doesn't know the law and/or completely disregards the law in order to subvert it so that he can show partiality towards the party he "likes" and to screw any party he doesn't like. The worst judge (MENDEZ) in the Civil Court by far.
