Awful, just awful. Started her career in Queens Family Court and after several complaints by not just the lawyers before her, but by her own court officers, was apparently transferred to the Bronx. This judge is flat out rude. Cursed (on the record) at one of the prosecuting attorneys before her.

Appearing before Judge Shelton after conduct charges had been brought against her, my experience may be very different. However, Judge Shelton was very courteous to the attorneys and clients. She was fair to both parties and chastised one litigant for calling the opposing party a liar in her courtroom. I found her courtroom unresponsive for requests for written orders and rescheduling.
