SHE TOOK CHARGE AGAINST DEFENDANT RIGHT FROM THE START. THE BEST JUDGE I EVER HAD. I AM SORRY SHE RETIRED. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER MAKING THE DEFENDANT COME TO MY APARTMENT AND WAIT AND INSTALL

Judge Jane Solomon causes a tremendous waste of time. Calls for oral arguments on silly issues. Simple motions can drag on for six months. Expect long delays with Judge Solomon. She is also biased towards big firms. Judge Solomon does not give a chance to solo practitioners or young attorneys to even open their mouth. When she is fixated on something, she will not let you speak. In short, a lazy judge and bad news for plaintiffs.

Judge Solomon gets a bad rap because she has little patience for unpreparedness and that, unfortunately, is a trait that plagues our industry. I have always done well before her simply because I know my files and I am always ready to go.
