Can be lead by any side that tells the stories that endorse her fabulist world view. She thinks she's hard headed and practical. Actually not at all. Not responsible or thorough. Likes pats on the head for getting it done fast and feeling like a good girl. The lawyers who see their egregious bills backed by her sing her praises.

She would not be tolerated as a judge in any wealthy developed European democracy.

Unfortunately, this judge wired in the insurance industry, and then was dropped into the matrimonial section - with limited or no knowledge of the was, procedures, precedent, etc. She makes her own rules, has limited respect for precedent, is not a hard worked, and will delay as long as she can until finally the chief judge calls for expediency and then she rushes to judgement.

Arrogant and pompous. Basically yelled at my attorney about our argument at the Appellate Division, even though the law was clearly on our side. She kept saying she didn't understand the argument. The argument could be understood by a child. 1 plus 2 equals 3, with tons of case law to back it up. Now my family is losing a 60 year business legacy.

This judge wrote quick, sloppy decisions and then ran off to the appellate division without looking back. Wait til she sees all of her cases that are overturned by the very department she works for now. Karma is... well. you know

I tried a very difficult case before her last year to verdict. I will not say there were tough arguments, some that required a lot of research on both sides. The judge read the law, researched it herself and educated herself on the issues as well as listened to oral arguments. I won some, lost some. It was an overall good experience and would love to be before her again.

Judge Fran Connolly is a rare find in the judicial system. She is capable, fair and kind. I believe that she cares about family, and looks at a situation holistically. She knows that not everything is simply black and white -- it's mostly, and typically, gray. She is simply a very good and honorable judge.

This judge lacks self-discipline. Her knee-jerk reactions lack temperance and evenhandedness. There is a lack of due process in her court. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she is tagged for corruption someday. She clearly made her decisions on the basis of ex parte maneuvering. Not an honest judge. The other side accused me of making false allegations of abuse, but the judge would not allow me to testify fully. She said she would speak to my children and didn't. All abuse was swept under the rug.

I wish that intelligent judges would stop before they accepted and amplified the hatred of women that has made millionaires of matrimonial attorneys. I wish that judges such as Francesca Connolly would have made it their business to learn about sexual abuse and domestic abuse, even to the extent of knowing that abuse is the main reason families end up in contested and highly litigated cases. She misses every obvious truth because she holds on to a hatred for women that has marked her time on the bench. I can't imagine why she hates other women. But her hatred is palpable and so is the aftermath of her biased opinions. I wish that she were more widely read. There is also an absolute lack of decorum in her behavior -- screaming, insulting, often to the point of becoming irrational.
