A very competent Judge who moves the calendar quickly. I witnessed him preside over a murder 1st trial where the defense asked for it to be a bench trial instead of a jury.

This judge comes to work prepared, is respectful to everyone in the court and knows the law. And be on time, otherwise your case will end up on the bottom of the pile. If you see any negative comments about him as judge in family court, those were written by people who had their children taken away for neglect. What else should you expect?

Judge McGuire. Has anger issues. I was told to shut my mouth after answering his question because he didn’t like my answer. He mocked me in the court room
He stripped us of our parental rights and took my son away. Because I could not get a psychological a valuation done when I explained that I had documentation. He said I don’t want you to get me anything. He has destroyed families and he abuses his postition.

extremely biased towards women.ignores evidence of child abuse and rewards abusers.Worst judge ever for any domestic violence victim.What I have seen in that court room cannot be unseen.

I am witness along with 2 others that Judge McGuire took custody from a parent for documenting abuse who was told to document the child in writing by a senior CPS investigator for their own protection.It was allowed to be called child abuse by the opposing attorney who claimed taking pictures of abuse is abuse because the child is aware of their picture being taken.Medical records of the burns proving abuse were called seeking to alienate the other parent!

I have been practicing for over 25 years and I have never had a better Judge. The Judge and his staff worked hard, knew the law, researched the law and were professional and polite. I tried a med mal and lost 5-1. I still have to say that this Judge and his staff were beyond excellent. I wish every part ran like this one does.
