Baffling, incompetent rulings on rudimentary dispositive motions. Did not apply the law and apparently did not read the moving papers. Kept a completely frivolous case pending due to his own incompetence.

He had not done his homework. He did apologize to have not read my premotion requests for conference to transfer the case to the district court because of low value of the case. He kept harping that I was free to make as many motions which he will deny. Yes, tried bullying me! Yes, he is ill tempered and impatient. Look what he wrote in 2012 as why he wanted to become a Judge! Hypocrisy at its best! Good luck with him as your judge. Please do read all the reviews as they are accurate for the most part. Never mind the brown nosing by the attorneys, They have to make a living so they dare not give a bad review of a Judge unless he is retiring.

Steinman is an arrogant and pompous fool. I wish I can give this man ZERO stars! He is not smart at all and a bully. He's the perfect example why some people shouldn't have the power they do because he abuses it.

His knowledge of the law is poor. Sure, he'll hide behind his computer and claim he's researching. I'm sure he's on some Sesame Street site trying to figure out the "letter of the day."

He's also rude and obnoxious. His nasal voice makes you want to hear chalkboard scratching instead. In short, a bad judge and an even worse person. Vote him out!

Excellent Judge.

He is very smart and knows his stuff. It's obvious that he had been a practicing attorney before becoming a judge.

He is a quick study too, as we had a few issues arise during our case that he had not encountered before. He took the time to educate himself and ruled accordingly.

His staff and the courtroom personnel were easy going and very competent as well.

All in all Judge Steinmen is a judge who "gets it". I'd take a dozen more just like him.

This Judge removed an attorney from the Courtroom, by force of a Court Officer for 10 minutes on August 12, 2016, without her property for OBJECTING on the basis of relevance.
Allowed others to view her cell phone, legal documents and property

This is what we get when we vote on party lines and we know nothing about the person. This judge's knowledge is minimal, with shallow decision, and does not know minimal procedural requirements. Stay away if you can.
