I found Judge Ramseur to be polite and respectful to counsel, and interested in knowing the facts. I was in her courtroom for a conference, it was quite crowded and her clerks were backed up. So Judge Ramseur began calling cases into chambers and conferencing them directly. I have never had a judge do that. She was a pleasure to work with.

~Biased judge. Thus, naturally there will be good reviews for this judge from the attorneys that got the benefit of her bias. It is unfortunate that the courts are now just like politics; getting the right judge can make all the difference in the outcome of a case. Very unfair to the parties who are on the receiving end of her bias. This is the world we live in. So unfortunate.

Judge Ramseur did a great job on my unified trial in Supreme New York. The scheduling, evidentiary rulings and jury charges were all fine. She was on time and we worked a full day when possible. She even helped with the negotiations. We reached a high/low agreement. The trial was run without a problem as per the prior reviews. I was the plaintiff and lost but have no criticism as to the Judge and how the trial went.

Rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Frequently smacks her lips when speaking to attorneys. Texted on her cell phone while sitting at bench. "Lost" a motion that was sitting in front of her. Denied motion without even looking at it (admitted she hadn't read it).

She is biased, abrasive, disrespectful and dismissive including of evidence presented. She was yawning the whole time during trial and rushed the process.

Judge Ramseur is curious and industrious, both critical qualities. While I may not always agree with her rulings, her aim is to find facts and do justice. There is never any doubt that her heart is in the right place. She is easily among the best new jurists on the Civil Court bench.

Horrible. Berates and bangers litigants. She is best known as the hot oil judge. Google it. Encountered her in Civil Court. The worst judge in NYC Court. Biased against minority litigants and very pro defense. Watch out for this witch.
