A disgrace of a judge. He is astoundingly cruel and unfair, using certain metrics when they don’t favor defendants and ignoring them when they do. He is particularly unreasonable on drug cases and refuses to give due consideration to facts and defense arguments. His contempt for people in his courtroom is evident and it’s remarkable that he used to be a public defender.

Terrible judgement on drug cases he needs to be terminated from that position. He is rude unreasonable and doesn’t view any evidence. He is very unjust and needs to refreshen his knowledge on the justice system.

Extremely biased, with a lack of humanity, most likely due to his years of experience being heartless to criminals. Today a young man with a history of burglary explained he had a serious drug problem, and his burglary attempts were to both feed his habit and to find a place to sleep. The judge reacted by saying the defendant was a career burglar, showing his arms as if he was just brushing the man's life away. This judges blatant disregard for compassion and human life for one's few mistakes, is a direct crime against humanity, and his biased opinion must be dealt with accordingly!

Clott is a disgrace to the bench. It's amazing that he used to work for the Legal Aid Society yet as Judge he consciously disregards the rights of the accused who appear before him. He denigrates defense counsel, rubber stamps applications of prosecutors, and is neither intellectually competent nor curious. He has no business being a presiding judge anywhere, never mind State Supreme Court.

He refuses to review evidence that so obviously, embarrassingly, will clear a convicted man or murder. There has been a plethora of evidence suggesting that this man is INNOCENT, and zero evidence (other than drug dealers picking him out of a photo array of 1800 men) the pinpoints him as the perp. But this "great judge" refuses to even review the evidence. [redacted by Ed.]

Judge Clott is an outstanding arraignment judge. He is astute, smart, respectful (though sometimes he can get impatient with laywers on either side of the case) and amazingly efficient. He works very hard and expects you to do the same. When you are in his courtroom you feel like you are in the presence of someone truly dedicated to his profession.

The Honorable Judge Abraham Clott is undoubtedly one of the best judges in the city. He is extremely professional, extremely efficient and yet attentive to the minute details of each case, absolutely unbiased and reasonable in his judgments. Judge Clott is a shining example of fairness, hard work and efficiency.

It is a disgrace to the legal profession that this man was made a judge. He has absolutely no consideration for due process, nor for the concept of justice that is the very essence of the criminal justice system. As an arraignment judge, his sole concern is to arraign as many cases as possible in a factory-like manner. He will not allow legal arguments to be made in his courtroom. He has no willingness to listen to bail applications on behalf of those charged with a crime. He shows no interest in weighing or balancing the factors that must be considered by a judge when deciding whether to set bail and revoke a person's liberty. His comtempt for those who appear before him, whether it be as counsel or as a defendant, is obvious and insulting.
