Horrible abusive of the powers given to her by the state. Gives children to registered sex offenders, child abusers, drug addicts, etc. Does not base court decisions off of facts but rather which attorney is her favorite that day. Google Ulster County Family court and you will see hundreds of complaints about her. Sadly, you will even see children's names written in news stories who have died due to Judge Mizels lack of concern. She runs unopposed in elections because so would lose otherwise.

Horrendous judge. No clue as to how to run a courtroom. Often keeps parties waiting while letting her morning calendar run late into the afternoon. It's a mystery of life as to how she keeps getting reelected since anyone else could only be an improvement.
