He is excellent bench officer. He is knowledgable and intellegent. I believe that all judges should be trial lawyers first, and Judge Schettino is an example of that rationale. That experience allows him to see the positions of both sides, understand the legal issues and the future impact on a trial and its impact on negotiation.
