Woooo... Let me just say this! This judge is very prejudice when it comes to interracial couples (particularly white & black). I was the plaintiff and my ex who happened to be the defendant. I had sued him for the cost of damages done to my vehicle. This judge is very biased, inpatient, rude, & belligerent. He has a very smart mouth, and is quick to make decisions on cases without even reading full evidence first. I was just to tell him about my ex who sent me harassing text messages and caused people to say stuff about me negativity. He acted as if he didn't even care or mattered any. He only awarded me partial settlement for my lawsuit, after the fact the defendant had his ex girlfriend to lie for him. The judge had then said and looked up at me... Maybe I should give you zero? Cause he believed my ex boyfriends witness over me! And she wasn't even there! And you do know the 10 commandments one is thou shall not lie as wel as bare false witnesses against thy neighbor, but he considered me a liar when I had no witness and the defendant pretended he was mentally challenged and could not speak for himself so, he let his ex girlfriend talk for him. And the judge believed them somewhat, without any proof that he is mentally challenged and that his dad is his legal guardian.

Needless to say, I receive partial for what I sued for. But life goes on! Too bad, you can't pick your own judge!

Judge Easter does not treat people with patience or respect --- he always seems grouchy bordering on hateful.

Easter is in too much of a hurry. You won't be allowed to present your entire case and this is a HUGE problem because he makes up his mind too quickly before hearing all the evidence. He's made a lot of wrong decisions this way!

Also, he doesn't understand that there can be more than one theory under which a party may be entitled to damages -- and that being unable to recover under one theory does NOT prevent recovery under the other legal theories.

He's a real disappointment.

I was always told that if you go to court you would be allowed to present your evidence but not in Judge Easter's courtroom. I was also told that exparte conversations were illegal but not for Judge Easter. All the rules seem to be different for him.
