If you protect a child you are literally on trial in this judges courtroom. The more assets you may have the harsher the penalties he will order on you. He often does not write an opinion of how he came to his decision. Children of a credible age are not heard in his courtroom.

Favors putting children in the care of a convicted woman abuser. He broke my face when he punched me in it and he has my baby he burned and bruised my autistic son and admitted to it on text and the judge wouldn't even look at it. He doesn't want to hear anything a poor woman with no attorney has to say only the abusers high priced attorney that mommy and daddy paid for. terrible judge and from the sounds of him he is not a good person either . I hope my case gets moved to a different courtroom. It's like being abused by someone all over again. He won't listen to any proof of the mens character or even allow questions that refer to his character. how often this abuser has even cared for the child changed a diaper fed the child properly. only puts down and uses scare tactics to get abused women to agree to anything he or the man asks for.

As a mother fighting to protect my children, I am appalled by Judge Charles Bailey’s decisions and conduct in family court. He disregarded overwhelming evidence of abuse and trauma, ignored the professional recommendations of therapists and evaluators, and forced my children into unsafe situations under the guise of “reunification.” Worse, he dismissed my attempts to advocate for their safety as “alienation” and used his position to coerce me into agreeing to rulings that went against every piece of evidence supporting my case. Judge Bailey’s actions have caused irreparable harm to my family, and it is clear he prioritizes personal biases and outdated ideologies over the well-being of the children who depend on him for protection. His court is no place for vulnerable families seeking justice.

This judge is definitely biased. He should not be in charge of custody. If you are a woman you can't be struggling in the least, you will not be heard nevertheless fairly.

This judge needs to be voted out! His biased favors only white men. He does not care if they are abusive, puts children in danger because of his hate of women and shows clear disdain for the lower income class. He's toxic and has abused his authority for far too long! He needs to be stopped!

His LACK of respect of those concerned about the welfare of children is alarming. Worse than that, he places children at risk when there is evidence to show there is indeed risk when he makes a ruling about placing a child. He should not be in a position to make decisions about another human life. He is biased, sexist, and has zero humility regarding the power of his position as a judge.

I am stunned that he would not waive the requirement to attend the divorce parenting class when the facts clearly supported granting the motion. His temperament is unacceptable, and his conduct regarding the mask mandate was reprehensible. Someone needs to recruit an opponent for his next election.

This “judge” is a narcissist. He favors men and abused females, literally breaks the law to harm females in his courtroom. He doesn't care about facts, honesty. If it comes out of a woman’s mouth it is disregarded. Washington County I’m known for its abuse of women. Their own employees see it.
Good old boys. The women in the DA office are just as bad if not worse. They are trying to get the respect of these woman haters so they go after woman to please these woman haters/abusers. Washington County is well known for its abuse of women. Advocates that work to help abused women are suffering from complete burn out from watching Washington county abuse women that are coming out of horrible abusive marriages just to be abused by the police, DA’s and the so called judges like Judge Bailey who is clearly a woman hater and a member of the good old boys club.
Washington county is so corrupt, they do t even try to cover it up. No checks and balances. No one in Oregon cares, no feds care either. Our justice system is disgusting… what justice. Equal rights?? Where??

They have a felon that used a knife to commit his felony, raped and physically abused his wife, owned guns and taxers the entire time admitted I. Front of judge Bailey and the expunged his record and can now own guns legally… completely against the law.
A bunch of monsters.
This woman beater stalks his ex wife constantly and she has tried to show the police and DA and they won’t bother to look.
Kicks her doors down, terrorizes her by use of hacking her security cameras and drones. Hacking her phone, email, iCloud.. the list is endless. And they gave this felon his gun right back while he was doing all this. Just months after he kicked her so hard she has a life long injury with a text from him saying he was sorry. The DA dismissed.
They are sick.

Fair enough in rulings on the civil side. Problem is he is generally inflexible as to scheduling, even where both parties are requesting a set-over.
