Brilliant. The ex wanted to take my daughter out of the state of California to live permanently with him in another state. In spite of the mediators recommendation of that happening, this judge wanted my daughter interviewed and her opinion taken into consideration
he even noted a case as precedent, and make sure that all parties were involved. Judge Martinez was Fair. And explores all avenues available to him.He is smart!! he saw right through the narcissistic behavior of the ex-husband, he made sure that I understood even when he had to rule against me ... in the two-and-a-half years I had to deal with the court system. Judge Martinez is very very fair. A very good judge, and I have absolutely no complaints about him

Refused to allow cross-examination of female petitioner, denied witnesses to testify, refused to require evidence of malicious claims of alleged criminal activity that were alleged to be in a court's record and police records - allowed into record, denied respondent opportunity to testify, made rulings without due diligence of fact finding, was dishonest.

At ease version: this guy is an outlaw and needs to be replaced. He has no regard for ethics or morals much less judicial duty. At right around $180k/yr hes obviously all about the money. "Screw the litigant, NEXT!" seems to be his attitude.

Judge Martinez works in Family Law. He is very Biased towards anyone who is not a minority. He is very short in temperament and even shorter when if comes to trying to convince him, after he cuts you off while talking and gives his decision. Very rude and judges you before he even gets to know you. I hope this judge gets booted out of office.

Horribly biased, even with the proof presented to him he didn't even bother listening to the best interest of the children and made his decision before case was even completely presented, on top of that he even went completely into the pro per's side and tried to be the attorney for that party, blatantly advising what to say and do

Judge is biased and creates his own family law rules. Ignores family law rules. Very rude. Does not read cases before hearing. Also this judge does his own investigation work in some cases.

Horrifically biased. Cuts off litigants. Gives legal advice to pro per litigants.
Slanderous to people who are not attached to case.Takes hearsay as gospel, fails to read any documents. He needs to be disrobed as family law judge. He has no business dealing with cases where children are involved. Recall this judge.

This judge is incredibly biased, to the point of being incapable of looking at what's presented to him. I watched him completely ignore the family law code and make up his own rules.
