This judge is horrible!! He is biased. Does not read any evidence presented, is rude to litigants, has no clue what he's doing on the bench. He kept referring to my daughter as my "son" and when gently corrected him letting him know I had a daughter and not a son he got visably angry and threatened to take my parental rights away. He should be removed from the bench. FYI, he has no training in Family Law, his career has been in Environmental Law prior to 2012!!

This Judge is a breath of fresh air after 3 judges before him in our family law custody case. He actually is prepared, has read everything, is organized and allows all parties to speak. He does stick to topic and controls his courtroom. He actually looks at everything and makes an informed decision not just based off what he said she said. We were dumbfounded that someone actually allowed us to talk and looked at the documents submitted ahead of time and made their own decision and not one of an attorney, minors counsel, therapist, etc. I believe that bad reviews are from people who are used to getting there way and he saw through their games and had the nerve to stop them dead in their tracks. This has been a 14 year old case and we've had our share of Judges and in the last 7 years, he has been the only one prepared and willing to listen.

Clueless---in fact, many on the bench in Martinez-family court--don't bother to mask their laziness/bias/unprofessionalism. Methinks it's become one big good old boys/girls club where they laugh among themselves about the havoc they cause innocent litigants. No wonder there is so little respect for the judiciary.

This judge has bias for women and minority litigants . He rewards men who violate his court orders, abusers , batterers and pedophiles. If you a violent crazy perosn, this judge will rule in your favor

Foolishly granted a TRO but later realized there was a long standing history of lies and gameplaying involved by the plaintiff. He passed it to another judge who tossed it out but meanwhile lives were damaged by his ignorance.
