Judge Schneider is one of several Judges in the County who will not ever preside over another of my client matters if at all possible. He is temperamental, arrogant, and shows extreme bias. His bias is against younger defendants and witnesses. He abuses his power as a judge by making threats and intimidating witnesses from the bench. Avoid this Judge if possible.

Fairly stern and conservative. Seems a bit jaded, and won’t always accept or listen to proof presented by defendent, often making assumptions that are contrary to evidence provided by defendent. Can be prone to anger, and sometimes lacks humility. Can sometimes come across as grumpy and lacking patience. He does seem to exhibit compassion when warranted. Will usually give defendents a couple chances when it comes to minor probation violations. His understanding of addiction is lacking. He will sometimes put down other judges’ rulings if he feels them to be too lenient (often unwarranted). On a scale of 1-10, with 5 being “fair and balanced” he’d rate a 3 - 4 depending on the defendent and case. On rare exceptions he may rise to a 5-6.
