This judge operates on a completely different level of collusion with the attorneys.  He seems mild mannered but he is extremely vindictive and passive aggressive. You'll hear him say "Educate me" in court and he is more than willing to engage in chambers communications without a reporter.  [Redacted by Ed.]

Once he is properly "educated" he will take your case with him wherever he goes.  Needless to say he cares nothing about the law.  He will manipulate the docket and the rulings, depending on the "education" he gets.  He will nunc pro tunc his orders and go back in time to change things.  He does not care about case law, civil procedure, court rules or the appearance of impropriety.  He gets embroiled in cases and manipulates the law to achieve his goals or speaking from both sides of his mouth in his conflicting rulings.  His rulings are internally inconsistent!

He got himself a personal department where he takes his "Educate me" cases for special attention to finish the job.  This judge needs to be investigated by the CJP or DA [Redacted by Ed.].  If you get this judge, peremptory challenge him.  But if [Redacted by Ed.] , you're out of luck because the opposing counsel will be in first and he will deny your 170.6.

If your case involves any kind of real estate with equity, you will never be able to  get rid of him, because his education depends on the value of the property, not the value of the case.  Other than that, pretty charming dude sitting on a very expensive throne.

I find similar with the 4/3/21 review.
I was In Pro Per. I quoted Milligan v. City of Laguna Beach as the exact same incident occurred to me with the same type of tree, a city tree, falling on my home the city of Encinitas knew of before and Judge Frazier granted immunity abusing discretion. I did a bad job of arguing my case, but my filing was good enough to show the city should have been responsible for the damage as they neglected to maintain the tree they knew about before. This judge refused to tell me his basis of decision even though I asked. Told me I had to get an attorney to explain it to me. Not True! He was the judge making the ruling. Either you do or don't have basis. BIAS FOR SURE FROM FRAZIER! Judges should all be to further understanding of law. They are our public servants and in my opinion, they should be held to an extreme standard of duty to us all. I know it's a tough job, but hey, the courts do not make it a level field for Pro Per filings. We have no choice in many cases as attorneys won't defend our rights.

This man is a defense attorney in a black robe. While he appears very well composed during his hearings, it’s simply because he has no intention of giving you a fair shake. He tries very hard to give the appearance of due process, but he is simply full of confirmation bias. Him and his research attorney are very pro-defense and will go out of their way to find any reason to throw your case out of court. Be ready to file an appeal in his department. And if you are ever so unfortunate to appear at his hearings, you are sure to hear him complain, at least once, about the fact that he has such a large docket of cases to oversee. Perhaps he should go back to his role in private practice for the defense bar, and give the honorable title of “your honor” to someone who can handle the bench with the dignity it deserves. This judge makes other brilliant-hardworking judges at Central look bad.

This Judge from the get-go did not show much interest in the case. While he had a calm and cool demeanor, he didn't pay much attention. On several occasions, he looked like he was dozing off at trial. We ended up having to settle, only after realizing this Judge didn't care and frankly wanted the case to end. While there are no guarantees in court, I would have rather had a jury decide my fate. Bad judge, who clearly didn't make it as a lawyer and really screwed up my case with his preposterous interpretations of the case and law.

This judge does not know what he is doing. 170.6 if you get him. He looks polite and acts like a judge but he does not know the law and does not know procedure. His peers don't think much of him. This is a terrible, unpredictable judge who ruins your case.
