I was very impressed that Judge Broderick reviewed all the pleadings before making his ruling on the demurrer and motion to strike. His ruling cited to the pleadings with specific cites and correct analysis of the law. His opinion was very detailed. It was a pleasure to have read his tentive ruling.

Cares deeply about his cases and is extremely well prepared. Will pontificate for hours. Somewhat uneven and unpredictable in his rulings. Is open minded at the start of a case, but once he tilts toward one side, it's extremely difficult to overcome the confirmation bias with persuasive evidence. Very personable. Allows attorneys to spoon feed him case law.
