This guy is beyond lazy. He doesn't read papers, doesn't even have clerks read papers, and then when you get called up for oral argument, he has you sitting there while he's paging through your papers for the very first time to try to get what the issue is, and then he starts asking you stupid, uninformed questions and then gets impatient when the explanation has any nuance to it and can't be summarized in two words. He forms very quick, uninformed impressions, is super-impatient and irritable and makes kneejerk decisions. My client has largely benefited from his impulses thus far, but it all could just as easily go the other way, and the main thing is that this just isn't how a judge is supposed to behave.

Comments:
A very pompous and arrogant judge. Talks a lot and tries to intimidate and scare attorneys into succumbing to his wishes. The only thing I will give this judge is that he works hard - he often stays on the bench past 1pm and doesn't even take lunch.

Comments:
Horrible with equally incompetent clerks- perfect example why it takes years to dispose of a simple civil matter. These people could never make it in the real world managing cases- they would be out of business in 3 months. I would expect a lot more from a “military man”

Comments:
Had no idea what the issue was and ruled contrary to party agreement, the CPLR and the caselaw - imposed his own idea as to what the law ought to be.

Civil Litigation - Govt.

This Judge is unreasonable, unfair, unacceptable when making a judgement. As stated on the previous reviews this lunatic judge should not be in the bench.

This judge should be given a 730 exam. He is a lunatic/moronic incompetent.

A lunatic. Incompetent and should not be on the bench. Clearly has no understanding of criminal procedure, at all. Is bombastic and cannot manage his temperament. An absolute embarrassment.
