In 2019 I returned from a military deployment to the Middle East. I filed a RFO to update our current living arrangements and child custody agreement. She treated me as if I wasn’t our daughters father. She told me that I didn’t have the right to make any changes to their lives because they were already established in their lives. She wouldn’t allow me to speak and actually told me that I wasn’t in the military. She is demeaning and makes rash decisions which greatly affect children's lives. She needs to be removed from her important position of authority.

She is cold, harsh, no personality..no help to everyone in the court room trying to obtain a divorce. She told one woman “I’m sorry you’re having a bad day” the woman replied in tears, a bad day is when you’re having a bad hair day or your car won’t start. I’m trying to get custody of my kids”. She should retire. She is horrible.

I sit in Judge McLean's courtroom for pro per court every week. She is biased, harsh, cold, and all her decisions seemed to be based on her mood. I have seen her destroy peoples lives in 60 seconds and then move on to destroy the next. She has told people to "grow up" to "shut up" and has even told a woman to "buck up and get over it", and that it was her fault she was abused because she chose to date the abuser...McLean is heartless and cold and does not follow the law unless it happens to fit what her opinion is.

She is condescending to litigants and attorneys alike. She cites law incorrectly. She is rude to elderly people, people who are representing themselves, and has actually told an attorney that she doesn't like their client! She comes in with a bad attitude. I watched her preside over 10 hearings and couldn't believe my eyes and ears. Then I was told that this was her on a good day! The attorneys all dread going before her because they know that there will be no justice or fairness. My friend has told me for years about her and I just had to see for myself. She doesn't get basic safety where children are concerned and especially special needs kids.

This Judge acted as if she never read or seen any of the facts attached to my response. She appeared to have her mond made up. Threatened I take the other sides proposal or lose my case. (I wanted it to go to trial) to prove my case. I stated that wasn't what I wanted and she granted the other party the case. Alot of the comments made here also match to how I was treated. I think she violates civil.liberties and doesn't give the right to due process. Ignored facts etc. I will be filing a complaint against as well with all my evidence.

I've seen this terrible judge in action. She actually told a domestic violence victim dear friend of mine to get a different advocate than Catalyst Domestic Violence Services because they have an abused women agenda! Fire her! She's not only a poor excuse for a family court judge, but I'd say a poor excuse for a human being.

This Judge is bias and had her mind made up. She through out school records, lies were proven, I did cross examination on the mediator and caught him in many lies and she took away time from me. I will take this as far as I can she is going to ruin BUTTE County!!!Kids lives matter and she needs to go!!

Utterly biased and uncivil. Workers at the Chico Court house should be embarrassed that they work under her jurisdiction, and from the impression I get -a lot of them are. She has no interest in hearing any facts once she’s made her mind up. Enforces rules selectively. Totally draconian, and completely inappropriate for family law.

Including my own. She picks sides and just fills the room with anxiety. Not fit to be a judge. Ignores evidence in place of false allegations.does not listen to facts and forms her own warped opinion on the law.
I've seen her ruin lives. Does not have childrens best interest in mind.

Deeply biased and ignores the Rule of Law regardless of whether it's regarding Social Security or not. She shocks licensed attorneys with her "ideas and interpretations of the law. Ive never seen ANYONE as miserable as she is except my now-ex-husband. On my way to Appeals Court, she left me on the streets with her Ruling and constant denials of Motions.

It’s extremely difficult to get a point clearly across and feel as if she’s understood clearly. I feel unheard and my case not fairly assessed. I’ve submitted documents she blantely ignored. This judge Needs to give us individual attention and care. Many family cases are complicated and she appears to be extremely annoyed with dealing with details. It appears the judge is unable to clearly define her objective in judgements. She seems to favor some people over others and give special interest to a few cases that she may be more inclined towards. I do hope she can get the care and joy back into her heart that is needed to clearly see who she is effecting with her decisions in children and parents life.

This judge has the worst judicial demeanor I have ever encountered. She scowls, snaps, interrupts and demeans. She has not one ounce of simple courtesy in dealing with lawyers and litigants. A judge can be no-nonsense, firm and "judicial" without being rude and unprofessional. It is absolutely shameful this person ascended the bench only to be so abusive to those in her courtroom. She is just ANGRY all the time. And if a lawyer TELLS her the law, it makes her even angrier and she digs in her heels and will not relent.
This judge needs to go.

1st of all, she was fired as criminal judge and fired as civil judge. In family law she destroys lives without giving it single thought! I have the legal right to an attorney, I also have the legal right to one continuance. She denied my rights and terminated a valid restraining order to protect the kids, in a single second without review of the case. She is the devil!

Doesn't take her time to hear the case. She is biased and once her mind is made up, your clear evidence does not matter or make a difference. She does not care about the well being of children. She is a woman hater, and an abuser/batterer advocate. She puts children in harms way and doesn't bat an eye.

I would have to agree judge Sandra is very bias and harsh. It took her two minutes and she threw out my case. She refused to allow my the adequate time to present my case for child endangerment before thoring it out. She did listened to the petitioner response though.
