Hon. Joseph Brandolino, is one of the very best; and is one of the only judges in LASC courtrooms, who looks at the evidence makes the right decisions and remains ethical and 'un'-"bought" and who is 'un' "intimidated"; like the compromised LASC Family Court nepotism-attorney troll, and troll's nepotism nasty, abusive, conflicted , compromised judge connection- along with the severe harm caused to the attorney's vulnerable opponent, even after these "public servant" judges semi-retire and become a "rent a judge" who will arguably be just as greedy, compromised, unethical, harmful and dangerous to the most vulnerable.

Agree, good judge and jury; but there are still questions and answers needed; the alleged denial, to interview the witness-informant, who allegedly came forward, shortly after new attorney, became defendant's attorney; and an attorney who is also Diana Teran's attorney.

Teran, is alleged to be the person, who had denied the prosecutor's request, to interview a witness and jailhouse informant (one of the prosecutors who was later removed.) Curious and very strange; strange timing and decision by the DA's office, to remove prosecutors.

Remember the Los Angeles Times previously reported that prosecutors- R. Gould and J. Castro, were removed from case, due to potential Conflicts of Interest; attorneys were removed from case; R. Gould, J. Castro, and supervisor G. Dameron, were previously removed from case, with the DA’s Office citing potential Conflicts of Interest. DA also did their job, relating to the case.

Made sure jurors had the tools and correct information needed, and they got it right. Did not tilt rulings, or try to passively/aggressively tell jurors how they should rule; the jurors also did their job.

Judge Joseph Brandolino, is one of the few Los Angeles Superior Court judges who is not conflicted, not corrupted and understands his role and duty. As some litigants have said, there are several conflicted and corrupted, LA family law dept. judges who are unethical, harmful and engage in nepotism, backroom dealings- especially if they have a financial stake and interest in a case and the slimy attorney; while some still practicing and some semi-retired working as a rent -a -judge and/or rent -a -lawyer. You can't harm others, violate the law and ethical duties, and "be protected" as LASC Family Court nepotism-attorney troll, bragged that they are ['protected'-attorney troll, complicit judge connection and cronies]and bragged on this very site, while violating numerous ethical codes and laws.

How is this man a breathe of fresh air ha a complete joke he only gets reappointed because no one else runs against him he locks up and convicts the innocent and slaps the wrist of white murderess women who hit and run over and kill elderly leaves scene of the crime and he convicts on tainted evidence lies and corrupt police detectives and lying police infoemants he a horrible being and i have nothing but pity anger toward him to convict my loved one for something he knows the prosecutor knows and dont give a f@@@ because my son is a young black man that was doing the right thing raising his daughter they created a bogus trial and succeeded in a conviction i just hope one day karma and the universe prevail

Judge Brandolino is a breath of fresh air in our legal system. He is tough on those with criminal tendencies, yet he understands that young offenders can often redeem themselves if given a second chance. He often rules against prosecutors who are more interested in collecting promotion cookie points by going after hapless young men. Judge Brandolio is what America was always about - a person deserves a second chance. I just wish there were many more judges like him.

Probably the most soft-spoken judge in the county. He never gets ruffled, and treats all parties with kindness, no matter how inappropriately they may act. Also incredibly brilliant, without a trace of arrogance. It is a joy to appear before this judge.

Joe has a law degree from Harvard and is a lot smarter than many of his brethren on the bench. Yet, he is always able to look at a defendant and say, "there but for the grace of God go I." He is a diligent worker and is a credit to the judiciary.
