Absolutely the more arrogant and pompous man who has ever sat on the bench. He may make decent rulings but his treatment towards others who have to work with negates all of that.

He is unjustifiably arrogant, shamelessly pro-prosecution, and not nearly as smart as he thinks he is. He makes rulings without even hearing from counsel.

While I barely know this man, I don't like him. Years ago I happened to meet a street person who was quite down on his luck. He said Judge Fidler had ordered him to do a four-month sentence. The street person was so sick I called Judge Fidler's court, but Fidler would not pick up the phone. The guy went into custody and soon died. He was about 44 years of age.
