A request for court reporter was made and on the record. At the hearing Escalante stated no request was made. The party stated the request was made. The judge's assistant stated twice the request was made. Judge still stated it was not made. Even though the court reporter was present and able to transcribe judge did not allow it. Escalante then cut off the party and didn't allow their three minute oral argument or one page text of same to be submitted. In the order Escalante said request for court reporter was not made. Escalante further stated she allowed the party to give full oral argument. Escalante lied about the request and what happened at the hearing because she denied the reporter and thought there was no record. Party gave notice that hearing would be recorded and it was. After the party presented their audio and transcript, Escalante said she just made a mistake. Then she struck the transcript for appeal. Motion to recuse was filed as it was first hearing with Escalante. Escalante replied stating she just made some mistakes, refused to recuse. Escalante then struck the motion from the record destroying court records.

This judge is a trial nightmare. If cases proceeded at the pace she can handle, only 2 cases would be tried a year. Serious judicial ethics issues with her. If the court ever cleaned house she should be one to go. Reason why people have no faith in the justice system.

Easily frazzled, has a challenging time making decisions. Obviously is smart but overthinks the wrong issues, but smart enough to use the law to screw you over. Questionable ethics. Picks sides. And will derail the case even if it comprises judicial canons.

Judge Kristin S. Escalante is using a schematic to defend her client Mason Companies, Incorporated. Schematically, for a year and a half she’s been arguing over a Proof Of Service form, and will never get to the nature of my complaint. Constitutionally, I sign where lawyers would and signed for a Person without knowing that I’m Three Fifths of a Person. Goldeneye judges with only one eye and one side of the Scales of Justice. By the way, Escalante is a Hispanic who is not Hispanic, and that too is a schematic.

A welcome addition to the PI hub. Well-prepared, reads moving papers and exhibits (including entire lodged transcript). Gives thoughtful analyses, responses, and decisions. Firm but fair and reasonable. Does not seem to issue tentatives so be prepared to argue, but she listens and tries to accommodate. She will impose sanctions where warranted.

Very thorough and prepared. Does her own research beyond cases cited in moving papers. Generally provides detailed tentative rulings but also seems to genuinely listen to argument and is willing modify her opinion if warranted. In my experience, Judge Escalante is even tempered and respectful. Even when she disagrees with your argument and rejects your position she is respectful in doing so. She is also very practical in resolving discovery disputes and works hard to get global buy-in on compromises that address each party's concerns.
