Litigant

Comment #: CA54956
Rating:1.0
Comments:
If you are assigned Judge Honigsberg, immediately request a new judge; you have a very short time frame to do so. The court did not provide us proper notice upon his assignment (as they did when the first judge recused himself), therefore by the time we were aware he had been assigned it was to late. This judge is bias, vindictive, gaslights litigants and is just overall awful. There is no real oversight, so he knows he can get away with being bias and unfair. He does not hold people accountable for lying under oath, destroying evidence, and uses excessive sanctions as a weapon and as a way to silence litigants. Awful Judge and everything that is wrong with our justice system.

Comments:
If I could give him a negative number I would. He seems clueless at character judgement. He completely missed the 97% lies that our neighbor told on the stand in an elder abuse restraining order we had against our neighbor, who has been shooting into our neighborhood and toward my husband and me for over two years. VERY BAD JUDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comments:
Judge Honigsberg is proof of the weakness of America's judicial oversight committees. He is drunk with power to a point where he believes himself to be exempt from having to perform his main job function: Acting as a neutral and fair third party. It is disturbing that he's allowed to be a judge.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: CA47407
Rating:1.0
Comments:
Agree that this judge is dangerous and should not be allowed to destroy lives. He is ignorant of the rules of evidence. Incompetent and extremely bias. Also unwilling to admit when he makes a mistakes. Completely mean and indifferent to parties and witnesses. No concept of fairness. Cruel and bias toward defendants. Easily fooled by aggressive lies of one lawyer and dismissive and intolerant of other, less flashy, lawyer.

Comments:
This judge is dangerous.
This judge is all over the place on ruling on objections. He has a very hard time “calling balls and strikes.” He doesn’t understand the hearsay rule.seems to be easily misled by aggressive counsel.
He doesn’t understand fundamental fairness or due process.
