Litigant

Rating:1.0
Comments:
Would not waste my time explaining what’s already in previous comments but what I will contribute is a negative rating because you have been continuously corrupting the legal system allowing bad law to be accepted and making it impossible for cases to proceed with legitimate legal precedent because of your misjudgments or errs in prior minuscule cases

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: NY14139
Rating:1.9
Comments:
Does not scrutinize any evidence instead is just chilling most of the time dishing out incorrect decisions on housing court cases when they are a civil court judge and when housing litigation gets underway honorable Jennings gets off track by not understanding that NY Housing Laws are different than New York Civil Laws otherwise they would have the same court room. It also seems as if this judge basis their decision before the case is ever heard never going through the case file until the case is being heard which is just prejudicing anyone being seen in front of her but after personally observing her cases in the courtroom I was able to inherit very conflicted information that was not based off of the laws or the merits in this state but based off of something else perhaps we will never know and people will continue to lose their right to due process and rights in general as she favors landlords regardless of the circumstances and the evidence presented or not presented. Now she is in Brooklyn no longer Manhattan but it’s a shame how many people were wrongly dismissed in her courtroom and how she allowed landlords attorneys or other party's being represented by their attorneys get special privileges all while ignoring anyone who may be right by not affording them their right to counsel or any rights unless they said “on the record are you denying me my right to ________ your honor?” It’s only then would the judge’s demeanor change to one more professional as they realize everything is on the record being recorded by technology not by a court reporter anymore at least in this court room. Anyways we wish you the most success in your growing career as you embark on new challenges in Brooklyn and hope you will be a role model for other aspiring judges and people within the office of court administration so that their is transparency and accountability and decisions are made not by influence but by the laws as they are written and meant to be followed not by how well someone who is an attorney can manipulate the system by leaving out the facts or the truth knowing someone who is unrepresented is not properly equipped to defend themselves especially against an onslaught of lies and misconstrued information which most judges can see through the lies but you must have not been paying attention or had a different agenda which does nothing but helps create bad law for the justice system. So hopefully you do take this comment to thought and make changes because we all deserve to recognize our mistakes and learn from them and it’s only the ones who admit to their mistakes and recognize them and correct them that make a positive difference in this world today.
