Arthur Harrison is a biased judge. Like the comments state, he leans towards women and not seeing the whole matter for what it is. He makes orders and signs without knowing what is the right decision.

Worst Judge. He needs the boot big time!

Not the worse but needs improvement.
He doesn't read the paperwork all the way through, ever! So make yours short and to the point.
He does seem to allow women to get away with a lot and play victim.
He at least tries to hear your case but doesn't take into account the facts if you are a man, he always favors with the mother. Alittle bit at least.

Worst Judge ever! these other comments are incorrect and are by spammers. The truth is that this judge is BIASED toward the mothers. I have proved time and time again that the mom is continually in contempt but Judge does nothing. California law is afford JOINT custody and the Judge doesn't care but believes the mother's lies. He doesn't go by the mediator recommendation either. If you get assigned to this judge - PAPER HIM IMMEDIATELY!!! transfer to another Judge. He is very unfair, and goes against his own rulings!!!HE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED! He NEEDS TO BE REMOVED AND VOTED OUT.

This judge is incompetent!! He goes against his own rulings and doesnt even review documents opposing counsel submits and just signs them going against his own order. HE IS BIASED TOWARD THE MOTHERS AND IS UNFAIR!!! HE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED! He NEEDS TO BE REMOVED AND VOTED OUT.

I have sat in Judge Harrison's courtroom many times and his patience, ability to look at both sides, and determination to be fair is amazing. If there were more judges like him, the family law system would not be the mess that it is.

I have been involved in an incredibly high-conflict divorce case that has gone on almost 6 years. I have been in front of Judge Harrison in excess of 50 times. I have sat in his courtroom and listened to cases presented before me. While I have not always agreed with him, Judge Harrison is fair to BOTH sides - even when it seems one side should no longer receive fair treatment. It may feel "biased", but he is issuing fair treatment to both parties, deserving or not. He is highly intelligent, and while it sometimes appears he's not listening, he is most certainly taking in everything. Family law is ugly and emotional, and often Judges rule based on emotion. Judge Harrison rules based on the law. Present the facts, be straightforward and HONEST, and you will do well in front of him.

I agree with the other reviews that this judge is very biased. He does not view evidence and will give inconsistent rulings to favor the side that he sides. He should not be on the bench because it is not fair to the litigant who invests the time and money on the case but the judge is not doing his job. Most people cannot afford to appeal from a bad decision. His bench is a waste of tax payers money. If you are assigned to his court room, get out as soon as possible if you want to have a fair judge.

I'm not so sure I see Judge Harrison as fair to the people he serves. He appears to display a strong bias to specific parties in court, He might be more suited for criminal court than family court. Hearings get pushed off without any responsibility to time and he displays no promptness in court. While he shows strong IQ he lacks EQ and has compartmentalized himself in the ways of applying law.

This judge needs to go back to the criminal division and leave family law. He is the worse family law judge I have seen. Attorneys in the family court house are papering him and avoiding having cases heard in his court room. He makes racist and derogatory and rude comments about minorities. He is gender bias and favors with female who put on the act that they are helpless lambs when they are the problem.
