This is an absolutely terrible judge, and if you can avoid her and get Judge Frogale, do it. She ignores rules of evidence and procedure, and the law is damned if it interferes with her decision. Make sure you have a court reporter when appearing before her.

I appeared in front of this judge years ago. I was a litigant, but I am also an attorney. I have little more to add than what is posted below. Judge Damiani doesn't pay attention to the rules of evidence (smart people like her think they shouldn't be encumbered by such nonsense), when asked about the bases of a decision she refused to comply (she's made a decision, shut up and sit down), and she's not particularly sharp on either statutory language or appellate precedent. This judge needs to go. She is not very bright, and is not at all fair. I cannot imagine how any sane person allowed her to wear a black robe.
