Commissioner Stamm should be held accountable for her inability to preside fairly. She granted custody to a father who attacked his wife and son (involving a firearm) on video, had pending charges for conspiracy to commit child rape, tied up a man and beat him with a baseball bat (fortunately the man escaped when he was being put in the trunk of a car); at which time, the "father" was incarcerated for putting a gun in someones mouth and then firing it off next to the man's head to intimidate him. The abuse that my children endured, due to Commissioner Stamm's inability to make judgements that protect children and victims of domestic violence who suffer from PTSD is unacceptable. I am going to ask for a judicial review in this matter. Heartbroken and disappointed in the justice system...

Benton County has a reputation as being crooked. Other counties will have nothing to do with them. Prosecutor and Judge have quite a financial racket going on.

She has no business presiding over anyone. She has a vested interest in convictions and entrapment cases. Why isn't she being investigated. She is biased, sexist and immoral. She states you haven't been coerced but they have. They are told you take a plea deal or spend 15 to life. That's coercion. 398 men arrested in entrapment cases and all took plea deals. Marked for life. She needs to be removed. Investigated and jailed.

Stam is a horrible commissioner. Benton county should be ashamed to have her preside and represent the district. In reading other reviews posted on this site, not only do I agree with what others are saying, but would further the argument that Stam is in no position to make decisions impacting lives of others. I believe she is tremendously sexist, rules based on an unconscious bias, disregards evidence and has scrupulous morals. I personally think she is satisfying some vendetta from a wrong that occurred in her own life. I would assume her husband left her and she is going to right it by killing one father’s rights at a time. She is Benton County’s equivalent to Derek Chauvin with respect to families. I would also speculate she is either being paid off or trading favors for some other nefarious deeds considering her complete disregard for facts presented. Not only have I lost my children because she allowed them to relocate across the country, but I have also lost all faith in legal due process. Way to go Benton county, I can’t applaud you enough for yet another display of ineptitude. How many other lives are you going to let this wretch ruin? If you have any morals and want to be respected as a legitimate legal entity you will replace her at term. I hope I am one of her last victims. Honorable, lol, should not be uttered at the forefront of her name.

There is no way this person should be in a position to make decisions affecting people's lives. She is intellectually lazy, she doesn't prepare for the hearing. She covers her lack of preparation by being belligerent. I have never been more disappointed in the WA justice system than I am now. She places a restraining order on me based claims from me ex-wife. She denied me due process when making rulings on my life. Two bad, uninformed decisions by her has cost me thousands of dollars in legal fees to rectify. My divorce was final in Oct 2019. I still have issues to resolve in front of an appeals court. This is due to the totally intellectually vacuous ruling by her. When my case is finally complete I'll be filing a complaint against this poser.

Along with most who have reviewed, I wish there was a negative black star for commissioner stam. She is intimidating, one sided, unfair, uneducated, judgmental and I honestly think she gets paid off. She has ruined my life by making these lies stand up in court that were said about me and proven incorrect by sealed medical records. The way she handled my divorce/custody/division of assets was drug out from February until the end of September, when I was finally able to mediate. Even after final orders, she gave him three continuances to try to gain financing for MY home that he signed a quit claim deed on when I purchased it. He finagled her to give him one more chance three times. She accepted lies over truth in the litigation process. She is damn evil. Please when her seat is up... get her out... PLEASE BENTON COUNTY!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

This judge has no business on the bench. She has proven that she is unfair to men and will decide in favor of a woman that is vindictive, lies, takes advantage of the system and has sought to financially hurt her ex-husband. This judge ignored facts, law, delayed a decision for 2 months, causing a financial burden for the man in this case. Like others have stated, I give her a 1 only because a 0 is not available.

She need to be removed from the bench. Very one sided. Letting a case involving children go on for months in a divorce case. Disturbing how she does not care what she’s doing to the children. Not my vote come election time I will campaign for the other to take her seat away.

There is a thumb on the scale for the brown-nosers who receive her favoritism. Often doesn't even read the documents submitted by the others who refuse to be part of the little clique. Covers for the unethical lazy and incompetent attorneys. Moves her buddies' cases ahead of others on the docket.

If I could give her a zero I would. She has no interest in what is best for the child. Saying that a 16 yr old doesn't know where or who they want to live with is absolutely crazy and flat out irresponsible of the judge. She is a disgrace to the justice system. she doesn't take into consideration the facts that are presented. Believing lies from the ex that were irrelevant to the case and basing her ruling on them. Horrible awful worst judge ever. Don't know how or why she got this position. I agree with every person who has posted on her I had every issue that is mention in previous reviews about her.

Horrible judge she needs to be taken off the bench, she has no regards for whats in the best interest of the child, clearly lets cases drag on, barely does cases herself sends to mediators, very unfair towards men, obviously supports a parents right to alienate a child from the other parent. There is not a judge worse than her.

She has zero compasion for children and promotes parental alienation thru supporting all delays in the process. She has allowed my divorce to drag on for nearly 2 years, and may continue for nearly another year. She entertains all allegations as truth until proven false meanwhile refusing to consider the glaring financial motivation of the opposing party. Even when proof is provided of innocense she seems to have a memory issue on what should happen and will allow the false allegations to stand and the allegator to go unchallenged. She has allowed the other party to delay the process by avoiding service. She has allowed the process to punish me and our son. She allows for veterans to be slandered and then ridiculed for their service.

This commissioner allows cases to drag on and on. I thought family court was to look after the best interest of the children. This process takes way too long and as a result the whole family suffers especially the children. Her ability to not see the truth when it is presented in front of her is truly amazing. Don't bring up any past issues...according to this commissioner the past is to be forgotten and the here and now is the law. Keep in mind that she is holding children's lives in her hands. If she is not looking at the past history then she isn't doing her seat or the children of this county justice.

Absolutely did not even look at what was presented to her & stated that a 13 year old was not "allowed" to have an opinion where they wanted to live. IMO very BIASED and has no business deciding family matters.

This judge is very biased and did not look at all the facts. She made decisions that were contradictory towards evidence. In this day and age we should have judges that look at all the facts and make decisions based on that. In something as serious as child custody forging documents and lying should be something people are held accountable for and even after proof of this the judge awarded in the offenders favor. Please do not trust this judge. She will make up her mind before the facts are even presented.
