This judge granted custody of my children to a known criminal who proceeded to mentally, physically, emotionally and sexually assault my children until they aged out of care. He did not care that the allegations were proven unfounded or that I had proof the court was causing undue financial difficulty and lifelong trauma to our entire family.during the case he left the country to attend to drug rehab, and his own son overdosed and died. He forced me to comply with urine analysis despite the fact I am not a drug addict. The original accusations came from a convicted child molester who was angry I would not allow access to my children.

Judge Godfrey is no longer on the bench in Grays Harbor. He still has a ferocious reputation for being cantankerous, contrary, and offensive that is legendary with the local bar. Nearly everyone who has practiced in Grays Harbor for more than a few years has a story about Godfrey challenging District 2 to reverse him on the record. but out of town practitioners are not going to ever encounter him as he has not set foot in Grays Harbor County since he announced his retirement effective immediately at the end of the day several years ago.

This is not a judge of honor, he should be taken off the bench and this time not for drug use and sales, it is not right what this so called judge says and does to people and attorneys. He is very abusive to woman and he is prejudice of Black men and white women being together. He takes kids from loving families and puts them with people that are alcohol drinkers and says it is unfit for a father to have a beer or a drink. I could imagine CPS and the Judge has a drink together after court. There is no JUSTICE in that court....

Gordon Godfrey should be kicked off the bench. He makes the word honorable mean nothing. He has no integrity and he is VERY bias against women. He doesnt have a clue what he is doing to children when he removes them from a loving and stable environment into a house that is less than stable and not fit for a dog. Myself and others have been dealt hands that were not appropriate and no judge in their right mind would have put children where he did. Plus he was part of the issues with the pour house and that gentlement has been through hell at the hands of Gordon. I refuse to call hima judge and honorable because he does not deserve that title.

Although generally competent, Judge Godfrey has a penchant for disregarding the law when it suits him to do so. He also has no qualms about openly showing bias both for and against parties and attorneys.

This judge is mean none caring is involved with the cps and cac to take children away from there parents and is rude and obnoxious. He is not fair at all and he knows the laws are being broken. and he does not care about you.

I can't believe he ran unopposed in the last election. What an absolute travesty. He begins each case with what he wants the outcome to be and works from there. He has ruined so many peoples lives with his biased rulings knowing that these people do not have the financial wherewithal to appeal.

judge godfrey is one of the individuals thats responsible for falsifying my verbatim report of proceedings. the entire direct testimony of deputy iverson is missing.

I believe Godfrey needs to step down. When he mocks the court of appeals and rules on the Indian Nation who the state has no bearings on there is something wrong.
