He was a hack who bent the law in favor of the result he wanted. I witnessed a case where the lawyers came to an agreement on certain findings, which Snyder accepted. But then I found out his Conclusions of Law were based on the opposite of what the findings stated! Unbelievable! Some day he’ll read this post. Snyder, you’re an ass, we all felt it, we all knew it, but didn’t say anything because we couldn’t. Now that you’re retired, me and the rest of the citizens (and lawyers), of Whatcom County can finally tell it like it was. You’re an idiot.

He seems like a nice guy but he clearly had a favorite before our trial began. The actual evidence didn't seem important to him so much as rendering a decision for whom he favored beforehand. One of the worst judges as far as considering the evidence and rendering a fair decision that I've ever appeared before in 35 years as a lawyer. Thank God he's now retired.

Law means nothing to this man. He will ignore the law for the better story from someone he favors. He has no good heart thought for the one he does not favor. I thought it was a requirement that Judges know and uphold the law of Washington state and our constitution
not so in Whatcom county. They make up their own

I agree with the above comment that Judge Snyder is prejudiced and biased. That is my opinion also. Furthermore, he will select certain facts and make a big deal out of them to support his decision, but he will ignore other more persuasive facts just to make justifying his pre-chosen outcome a little easier for him.
