Inept. I knew it was not going to go well when she had her "Hello Kitty" accessories at her bench. She ruled in favor of my X, the narcissist who commits fraud frequently. Yes, he and his slick attorney bamboozled her good! His net-worth is over 3 million dollars yet he's lowered child support 3 times by continuing to lie and commit fraud and has never done any of his court ordered counseling for abuse. Way to go Laura, you missed the target on this one big time. Now my teen son and I live in a 600sq.ft. 1-bedroom apartment and continually still suffer abuse at his whim. #epicfail

Horrible Judge. Good for nothing.
As a judge one takes on a responsibility to justice. One should and must strike hard to get the truth out.
People in weaker positions or negative environment need help the judge should exercise her discretion, does she remember why she was given discretionary power?
Not one attorney has made positive statements about her 1 word description “DULL” few words as possible “Not the Brightest” “As she is” “Slow” “Lacking” “Unintelligent”
She is a person who does not deserve to be in that chair. She should retire she knows she is unfit – or wait can she judge

In family law, she "gets it." No bias that I can detect. She takes a practical approach. Goes by common sense more than the law, but she actually has common sense, so it's OK.

I have tried a jury case and have had several other matters before Judge Middaugh. She is well prepared, grasps issues quickly and gets to the point. I lost the jury case, but I thought Judge Middaugh was good on the evidence, pretrial matters, instructions, etc. On a later case, she granted summary judgment when other judges would have punted. I would have no reservations about having Judge Middaugh hear a future case.
