I cannot believe that Potts has the power to make decisions for children’s lives. It is evident that she is biased and has already made decisions before hearing anything. CPS and a GAL make recommendations and she rejects them. That is the voice of the child and that’s what matters! Especially when there are handprint bruising and accusations of “bad touch”.Now the children scream and cry when they have to go back to the abusive neglectful parent. They are peeing the bed and panicking. All of this after unsupervised visits allowed. How can a person fix this?? How do we get help?

The Superior Court judges, as her employers, are complicit in her actions. When a child dies, if they haven't been already, then will then defend her, just because. They are aware of complaints about her, and do nothing.

She needs to get kicked off the bench. Sent 2 kids to california to a father that wouldnt complete anything and a banded the kids now the kids are suffering because of this judge

If you want a fair chance get a new commissioner. Extremely biased. If you want an edge and you're also a terrible person sniff around find out who her lawyer bff is and you'll be golden. Doesn't follow rules. Attacks the parent who is doing well and favors the parent sitting on their ass. Would rather give the child back to a lazy life long welfare recipient who makes extremely poor life choices and endangers a child rather than a responsible hard working parent. Wants the issue to drag on for years and completely disregards the voice of the child, advice from professionals, and recommendations of the g.a.l. And social worker. Potts is the worst!

I think she is fantastic. I have seen her on numerous occasions in court with foster children. She continues to hold these parents, lawyers and department up to a higher standard and is not afraid to hold them all accountable. As a foster parent it is refreshing to know she wants the parents to have actually changed.

If Potts is such a good commissioner why did the case drag on for four friggin years? I've seen her in action and her general disregard for spending tax payer money in a 3and a half year case that she refused to close with the most absurd reasonings!

I have seen her in action both in family court and in handling foster cases. In the family court setting, she ruled against a woman who was trying to take her kids away from their father and I believe she ruled correctly on the case. In the foster care case, she put appropriate pressure on DSHS to actually get their paperwork to terminate parental rights. That was a case that dragged on for four years before she got involved. She was probably not completely professional in how she handled it, but given that DSHS has no real excuse for delaying, I thought it was reasonable.

To the person that wrote the last couple of comments. We have been stuck dealing with dishonorable Potts for quite awhile now. I'm really thinking its a lawyer problem and not a gender favorite problem. What is the opposing party's Lawyer's intials? If you are ok with posting. It seems Potts has quite a few conflicts of interest, of course I can't prove it but I've seen enough behaviors to say its likely. And yes I agree she doesn't follow rules and is a despicable criminal lover.

She won't protect children. Makes them come to visit abusive parents. Too bad the kids can't sue her for exposure to vermin and cigarette smoke she forces them to stay the night in.

This Commissioner does not care about the best interest of the child. She cares about control. She worries another judge might see what she's been up to and fights to keep it all in her court room. She only listens to her lawyer "buddy's" side of the case. She protects lying manipulating child abusers, and supports extensive use of the welfare system and state funded services that she orders must be provided for them. Who pays? The tax payer. Who pays physically and emotionally? The child that this Commissioner should be protecting.

I would rate this commissioner a zero if it would allow it. This commissioner repeatedly make the most ridiculous decisions. Not to mention myself and others (proffessionals)think that there is some sort of conflict of interest with the opposing lawyer. She goes against the wishes of a G.A.L.,S.W., the AG, and the childs counselor. And continually sends a small child to see her abuser. The abuser had a restraining order not to see the child for a year. This lousy commissioner made it to where the child must visit her abuser anyway. I wish somebody would have the sense and decency to disbar this woman.

Commissioner Potts is extremely inept making decisions pertaining to families. She expresses POOR judgement, and being a judge, I would expect unbiased judgements. This woman should be kicked off the bench as incompetent.

I have been in frount of Her a few times and from my experience she is all about men. My ex legally abanded the kids 7 times over and she still wanted to give them to him. The only reason I got them is because he couldn't pull his head out of his a** but this time he admits he has been to busy and now she is going to give them to my ex. She has no back bone and only Go's for what the city generals office wants
