This man is a dirtbag. He is senile. I was sitting in the court waiting for my hearing to be called, 2 times he had the wrong case file in front of him.

He had previously ruled in a paper hearing and had no idea that the father in the case was the one taking care of the minor child the couple had. He was there to have him revise his judgment for the amount of child support paid to the wife for their ADULT child and her spousal maintenance. He clearly realized he had made a mistake and said that he ‘didn’t realize’ the father was the one with the minor child. The mother’s attorney said ‘even though that was written in several declarations?’ Paxton’s response was that he reads a lot of paperwork.... yeah.... that’s you’re JOB. He does not care about evidence or the law. THANK GOD this joker is retiring February 2018! Good riddance.

Unfortunately I had the misfortune of dealing with Paxton 6 years ago. I was left penniless, bankrupt and severely restricted from seeing my son. She was allowed to move to California with him before he was 1 which I fought in front of this heartless man. Then a year later she took him to Connecticut knowing I had no money to fight. He ordered I pay 800 a month plus sixty percent of travel expenses when it was California plus even if she got a rental car. It’s been three years now since I’ve seen my son in person and now she is blocking me on the phone and alienating from my son. All because this man has a horrible bias of men. I have had to be on antidepressants anxiety meds because of the pain this guy had put myself and family through. With the things my ex is pulling now I went to get the paperwork to change the parenting plan and hold her in contempt. I asked if I could be recused from seeing judge Paxton but was told no since he was a judge commissioner. I walked out without the paperwork knowing I could never get a fair shake in from of this awful human being. I will have to be strong and wait till he retires to try anything else. I hope you read this dishonorable judge Paxton you bring no good to the community you are paid to serve, you only bring heartache and despair for mainly children and their fathers. May you have great shame. Is their anything that we as a community can do to get this man off the bench?

This idiot overturned a portion of a protection protecting a ten year old child from her mother after her mother abused her and kicked her out of the house. He upheld all portions of the order, then wrote "with the exception that the child is to be returned to the mother's custody immediately", not only a stupid and dangerous judgement call but contradictory.

Basically "HOT GARBAGE." An open an shut case with evidence and precedence set by another judge in Washington displayed resulted in no recourse against a mom alienating my children. I have lost contact with 2 of my 3 children and the court can't do anything because I haven't spent enough money coming to see them on a regular basis. Now all visitation has to be in Washington State, the mother pays zero while have to pay airfare, car and hotel to see my kids. What a joke. I hate Washington State and the liberals who keep clowns like this jackarse in a position to make decisions that effect peoples lives. Anti-father! Anti-military.

I was a DV victim in 2009.....and in court he asked me "what did she do to you sir" only to be followed up by "sir this happened 6 years ago" I bet you he would never ask a woman who was a victim of DV assault "what did he do to you lady"

Ignored anything I had to say. He destroyed my family. Mom never got the help she needed and had a massive overdose at age 39. They landed on my doorstep after not seeing them for two years. The two little ones were barefoot and the 4 of them in rags. The kids had numerous medical appointments. They were clearly neglected. Everything I said is true in hindsight. But a decade later I am still picking up the pieces.

I have now been in the court room twice only to watch Paxton blatantly ignore the RCW's conferring with the plaintiffs attorney prior to the docket refusing to allow the respondent to speak what a joke he is very very biased and extremely opinionated he should not be in this position he is more concerned with getting through the docket in 2 1/2 hours - his statement to a gentleman before him trying to state his case-than hearing the response or complaint can't believe my tax dollars are paying for such a travesty to justice!!! Respondent is trying to represent them selves but will have a OUT OF COUNTY attorney at the next appearance one that doesn't have cocktails at Max Dales with all these good ol boys in Skagit county

Absolutely horrible. He is completely biased against men. My husband has fought non stop for custody of his son from his unstable druggie mother. We have have spent thousands of dollars on attorney fees and have done everything required by the court system only to have Commisioner Paxton look us in the eye and tell us he doesnt have time to read our evidence or declarations.
Just recently we had 2 police reports and 1 declaration from a private investigator (who was a retired sheriff and ex-CIA agent) proving her lies that she broke a state relocation law and forged a fake declaration. She lied straight to his face and he took her word with absolutely no evidence to back it up and refused to acknowledge ours.
Children suffer at the rulings of this horrible man. He does not follow the law and you will never get a fair hearing if you are a male.

He is completely biased. Like an earlier post said he just kicks the can down the road to stay employed. He is absolute garbage. Doesn't know the laws. He should be fired to say the least. What's happened to our judicial system. If men like him are on the bench trash will always prevail.

General opinion is shared. Fathers are not important enough to keep in the childs life to him. He does not hear the case and always sides with the mother. Instead of keeping a fair and functional relationship with children he decides its best to destroy it and fathers lives at the same time. Sorry if you are ever in the prescence of this man.

He does not care at all about the fathers. It doesn't matter what the circumstances. And no matter what the lawyers give him to sign for the mothers he will sign it regardless if its not true. He is one sided and bias. He should not be a judge. There is no such thing as a fair hearing in his court.

He was my judge in a custody battle with my son awhile back and told me I would be his hero if I signed and open adoption. He brings his own personal opinions into cases and doesn't look at the facts. I pray you never have him reside over your case.
