Hon. Lamont K. Jacobson (Marathon) I watched him in person sentence my wife to 6 years in state prison. She never had a criminal background. There wasn't enough evidence to prove or disprove her case. Her lawyer in the case told us she would get a year probation if she pled no contest. He used her being in forster care against her which wasn't even her choice. She followed all her bond conditions for over 6 years. Never once got in trouble. Hon. Mark T. Slate (Green Lake) I am a victim of gender and socioeconomic biases from Judge Mark Slate…Comparing my case to a wealthy male counterpart who had the same charge as me (with more charges related to his charge than I had to mine—we both had 3rd DUI charges) was given lesser time for IID and revocation (only 2 years) and no sentence of probation. I, female, was given 2 years probation and 3 years license revocation, 3 years IID installation. Why do I feel I was discriminated against in my case? There were 6 years between the male counterparts 2nd and 3rd DUI and 16 years between my 2nd and 3rd DUIs. My male counterpart also has a history of domestic violence convictions and I do not. I was ordered to pay roughly 2100.00 in fees and fines and my male counterpart was ordered to pay roughly 2600.00 in fines. My male counterpart was granted more liberties than me. This is unfair and biased sentencing. My male counterpart was sentenced AFTER I was sentenced. This is unfair, impartial, and clearly shows this judge is biased. Hon. Marc A. Hammer (Brown) He did a great job being impartial on a case that's hard to hear... I just wish he would've considered more than 18 years for the men who took away such a bright young soul in such a horrific way. I don't think justice was particularly served in this case... but I'm glad it didn't go to someone who only focused on the mistakes the victim made rather than the circumstances leading up to the trial (his murder). From the second the ruling went through, I've had a sour taste in my mouth. 18 years is something, but it's not enough. Someday in the distant future I'll be bringing my children back to Green Bay to see my parents. I just hope they won't be the groups' next victim, considering these "people" are just allowed to leave their cells one day and live like they didn't just kill a kid. Hon. William Domina (Waukesha) This judge does not consider the law or read the briefs. He makes decisions at a knee-jerk reaction without talking to the attorneys or the litigants. He threatens people with a bad result before he has learned anything about the case or motion before him. He jumps to unwarranted conclusions without allowing people to make their arguments or present their evidence. He seems upset about anyone coming into his court. The attorneys in this area say that he is a bad judge and he doesn't belong on the bench. Everyone seems to be afraid of him because he punishes people for bringing cases or motions to court. Hon. Douglas T. Fox (Price) Judge Kevin Klein replaced the Hon. Douglas Fox per a Gov. Walker appointment. Klein earned his reputation as a First Amendment attorney, but his work on the bench has DISGRACED his former 'Abe Lincoln' thoughtfulness. Klein unethically stole four years of our freedoms with his unwillingness to provide ONE WEEK to organize audio/video tape evidence that would have proven 100% courtroom perjury on 2/27/2020 when Klein subbed for a recused Judge Knox-Bauer in Taylor CTY. Three Village Officials that had 9 criminal charging referrals to their credit were allowed to provide 100% hearsay evidence; no supporting hard fact evidence; no police reports, no witness statements, no audio or video feed evidence. Hon. Ann Knox-Bauer (Taylor) Allows Taylor County lawyers to disrespect and disregard the Rules of EVIDENCE & law. Knox-Bauer FEARS small county election consequences in northcentral WI (Taylor CTY is 20,000 mostly related by blood or marriage and BOYCOTTS are common when you 'step out of their LANE'.
