Hon. Charles Dow (Kennebec) He was irreational, was extremely biased because I was from out of state, told me if I wanted to be a good father I would move to Maine? My job, huge family everything is in NC. My child has no family in Maine but is stuck there because of him. She lives with a 65 plus woman that runs a foster home for troubled teens, has been sexualy molested twice (proved by SBI) and lives in this awful place because of Dow. I have NEVER been in trouble, own my own home, work in the IT industrie with top government clearnce, yet Dow made it impossible for me to see daughter unless I travel to the County, I go at least 2-3 times a year I make a good living and it kills me to see the standard she has to live in, the lady collects AFDC from DHHS food stamps and medicaid. She uses my daughter for profit, she has never held a regualr job, just the foster care thing so she has no benefits because she claims almost zero income, it is "exempt" with my daughter she collects medicaid as Dow also gave her Defacto Parent rights, which was a lie, this child was NEVER abandonded in fact was living with me when he awarded it, he ordered me to return her to Maine to that woman where I have fought for about 10 years, I have spent thousands and she has been found guilty of contempt yet still she holds the child away from her natuaral family. Hon. Charles Dow (Kennebec) Awful, he enabled the state of Maine to abduct a child from a loving family. The story is news worthy. I first feel the need to say, I have NEVER been in any toruble, work in IT industry with top clearence, own my own home. I live in the foothills of NC where I was born and my very large family lives. I fathered a daughter as a teen in Mars Hill, ME. The teen mother lived in a high risk foster home. I thought I could save her, I was young. She sadly went down the road of drugs. I have never been involved with drugs or drink. My dauther is now 12, Dow started years of unmentional stress and sadness to our family, not to mention thousands in legal costs. The foster mother where my teen girlfriend , lied and said my daughter was abonded and filed for Defacto Parent, this while I had my daughter in NC and Dow gave it to her? She was never abandoned we have pictures of her with our family since birth, holidays, birthdays, camping trips, prior to leaving Maine she lived with her mom and then foster mom about a mile away I saw her daily as a young child. Dow would not even look at pictures and let the lady lie, it has been proven in court my daughter suffered sexual abuse twice in her care. Now she is 12 and I am still fighting, have court shortly but after years of failed attempts don't know where to turn. This lady uses my child for AFDC, food stamps everything she can get, each time we go to court they give her more child support. SHe has been held in contempt and is filed again waiting for date. She is in mid 60's and that's just the tip of iceburg too much for one email. I am only allowed to see her when I can take time to travel to Nortern Maine, I pay for all travel and cannot take her out of state, her grandparents and extend family have been robbed and she has to live the life of a popper because of this wicked lady and Dow's poor judgment, Dow told me if I was a good parent I would just move to Maine. Biased much? The child has had to live in a foster care invoremnet with troubled teens in a house about 900 sqft , she tells me sometimes she can't sleep beause of screaming, she complains of no food in the house, for Xmas she asked for her own refriderator because they eat all her food. Her greatgrandmother sent her a dorm pink one. She has no blood relations in Maine only the wicked woman who has friends with DHHS through her Foster program where she has quite the scam going and has gotten away with for 20 plus years. I have proof of all in this email and then some. Dow said things off record and his mind was made up before we even sat down. Hon. Peter Darvin (Somerset) Judge Darvin had pre-determined conceptions that appear to have significantly influenced his decision in a contentious divorce case. One party told lie after lie after lie. Those lies were exposed by expert testimony, but Judge Darvin gave the lies equal or greater weight to the expert testimony. Hon. Jeffrey Moskowitz (Cumberland) This judges performance during a hearing in York District Court was absolutely disgusting. He listen to 5 peoples blatent lies, he allowed them to confer with each other when they were not supposed to. He allowed outbursts from members of the Audience not even involved. He sat on his butt and could see people messing up and reading scripts and all the testimony matched because he would not send others out of the courtroom and then would not allow the defendant to speak at all and found in favor of a bunch of people who blatently lied under oath on the stand. Hon. Jeffrey Moskowitz (Cumberland) Mr. Moskowitz is known for his blatant violations of client rights, poor comprehension of the law, and deficient value judgement among lawyers in Maine. Hon. Jeffrey Moskowitz (Cumberland) From my personal observations I have the following opinion and assessment of Judge Jeffrey Moscowitz: He is a disgrace to the court system and reflects poorly on what the state of Maine should consider fair and impartial justice. To me, and perhaps hundreds of others, he is clearly a misogynist and, from his treatment of women, it appears he delights in tormenting abused women who have the audacity to report the abuse of themselves and their children by their male partners. He ignores CLEAR and compelling evidence as well as the testimony of professionals in the law enforcement, medical and mental health community. He berates, belittles and further abuses women who come before him seeking help for themselves and their children. He repeatedly ignores pleas on behalf of these kids and often puts them back into the hands of their abusers…emotional, physical and even SEXUAL abusers. He has repeatedly denied mothers joint custody or visitation and has even viciously accused these women of actually being the abusers and turns the tables by ruling that the fathers of being the poor victims of a ‘vindictive woman’. These children are left at the (lack of) mercy of their abuser with no actual oversight by the family court system. And it is apparent Judge Moskowitz exerts his judicial influence on other judges in the York County courts who uphold his faulty, illogical and often shocking findings and then he signs off on their judgements. Make no mistake, many see that Jeffrey Moscowitz is as abusive of women and children as any perpetrator who has appeared before him in your family courts. Women have been stripped of their rights, their livelihoods, their homes and, in at least one (of many) desperate situations, a woman’s life due to suicide. I believe it is only a matter of time before a child dies because of his judgements. It appears that State of Maine has a two fold problem. First, the family court system leaves judges to decide whatever they feel like based only on their own bias and their like or dislike of the person whose entire life hangs in the balance. Second, and most pertinent to this situation, is how Judge Moscowitz exercises this latitude to the EXTREME to destroy good mothers who only want to protect their children. Given all of this he has has NO right to be a judge and for the State of Maine to allow him to continue his reign of terror makes the state of Maine complicit in the injustice and the violations of civil rights he imposes. I am surprised the state of Maine has not yet faced Civil Rights Violations, but it is clear that would be most appropriate because of this judge. He needs to be removed and every one of his cases involving abused mothers and children MUST be reviewed. The lives and the well being of your most vulnerable citizens are depending on it.
